Recycling
Subloo’s experience in Waste Management spans
30 years and for more than half that time recycling has been fundamental
to the waste management operations.
Subloo’s has set up a recycling plant beside the Raw
Materials Depot in Dickson Road, Innisfail. Here, they run a
recycling system in which recyclables are brought
back from the Transfer Stations and collected from the public to
an external recycling system. The recyclables are sorted and
distributed once processed. Final products are distributed to southern
recycle agents.
Recycling is undertaken within all waste management
contracts within all shires. The operation of recycling consists
of: cardboard, paper, plastics, glass, light steel, heavy steel,
ferrous and non ferrous metals and batteries.
Subloo’s have now implemented, built and installed
the only MRF sorting system, in North Queensland.
As part of the recycling process, Subloos hire out
waste commercial bins. They range in size form 240 litres to
1.5 meter and 3.0 meter bins. Bins are serviced daily and picked
up on a regular basis.
Our service also provides for document destruction
bins which are hired out to professional practices within the local
shires.
We also service contractors and commercial businesses
with the provison and pick up of skip bins. Many shopping centers,
warehouses and commercial outlets use our services.
Subloo’s recycling has grown
immensely since this program began, employing up to 10 employees
involved in the processing, sorting and picking up of waste bins.
